Of course we had to celebrate school being out with a beach day and friends! It felt good to get out into the sunshine and bask in the non-stress of summer!
I also got a special beach day with my awesome friend Kami who lived in Niceville when I was here before and was up visiting. So, so good to see her!
We also had a Memorial Day pancake breakfast put on by the Cub Scouts. The primary provided water activities after the breakfast. The funny part was, that was the exact day that Niceville got a direct hit from Tropical Storm Alberto. Oh well, we were going to be getting wet anyway, what's a little rain, right?!? ;)>
Of course there were trips to the pool for when it was hot . . .
. . . painting toenails, making homemade ice cream, and creating new hairdos for when it was not.
And finally, Kylie decided that school getting out was the perfect time to use her money to buy that guitar she'd always wanted . . . gotta love it.
