So, where did the month of April go? I don't know, but it was sure busy. Maybe because I was called back into primary as the secretary and -ZOOM!- there went all my free time. I guess it took me about a month to feel organized according to my standards (which, according to Chris, are at a whole different level from anyone else's), and now I can rejoin the blogging world. So it's probably going to be a ton of blogging again catching up . . . hopefully I can get into a rhythm where it isn't always feast or famine . . . we'll see.

Conference was splendid, as always. We spent Saturday hanging out in the den watching it on the computer. No room for a tent this year, but we had the Jelly Bean/M&M Conference Bingo going on and plenty of chips and avacado salsa, so we were set. Sunday we had a huge pancake breakfast at our friends home and then watched the morning session with them - lots of fun. The girls also took some good notes during President Monson's talk, as shown below:

I was very impressed with what Aly picked up on during the talk and the good notes she took. . .

. . . Analise drew an awesome picture of the temple . . .

. . . and Kate's, well, needs a little interpretation. Chris helped her draw some of the crayon animals and after she drew the "owie" on the cat's forehead she wanted me to draw the band-aid on it. Also, for some reason she wanted everyone to have frowning faces. The black stick figures she drew all by herself. The first one is Kate, as a grown mom, at her own birthday party. To her right is me at her birthday party, with my hands in my pockets (hence no arms). At least the upside down girl is smiling. That is Kate with long pigtails when her hair is grown out. She did know that the prophet had spoke on the temple when it was over, so I guess that's a success.
