End of the School Year (May 2018)

As we were preparing for Chris to deploy and taking last minute vacations, the girls were in the middle of their last few weeks of school. . . 

Aly took RJ to Mormon Prom and had a great time taking pictures, dancing, and hanging out with friends.  

Kate and Kylie had Evening of the Arts where they were able to display all of their masterpieces.

Kate even had one of her pieces on display in an art show at the Mattie Kelly Art Center! Go Kater!

Even though Kylie is about the shortest kid in her grade, she ended up as one of the top 10 girl runners for 2nd Grade!! Go Kylie!!!

Kylie had a great year where she gained a lot of good study skills, improved in her reading and math facts, and made some great friends.  She loved being a Leighton Leopard!

Last day of school - Kylie dressed for her friends to sign her class shirt, Kate dressed for her promotion program.

The 5th Grade had a wax museum where each person chose a famous person to research, write a report about, and then give a 2 minute speech about their life while dressed up as that person!  Kate chose Walt Disney and rocked it!!

5th Grade also had a rocket launch as part of their science curriculum.  Lots of fun learning at the end of school! 

End of Elementary School for my Kater Bug.  I can't believe it!!  Off to middle school already.  Oh the Places You'll Go!

Of course I needed to get a piece of this action!

In Lise's final weeks of school she finished her very own "Christmas All Year" Website that she'd been working on in Web Design. Neato-Skeeto

Lise also tried out for Color Guard at Niceville and made it!  Go Lise!  Super proud of you and excited for a fun first year of  HIGH SCHOOL!  (I can't believe my kids are all getting so old!) I can't wait to see you marching in the football 1/2 time shows!

I was also proud of Lise for the high honors she received for her academic achievements at the Honors assembly.  AND, on top of that, she even got up at 5 am one morning to make Aly waffles so she could have a good breakfast before her AP World History Exam.  So proud of you Lise - all your accomplishments, your well-roundedness, and your willingness to serve others.  You're growing up into a fine young woman.

My 3 Ruckel Rams: Past, Present, and Future!

Aly had no classes the last day of school, so we went from Kate's promotion ceremony to Lise's awards ceremony and then out to lunch at Tropical Smoothie to celebrate the last day of school.  Hooray!  Summer is here!!!!!
