I don't think the kids were as disappointed about their school prom being canceled as they were about "Mormon" Prom not happening due to COVID restrictions. So some really nice mom's got together and decided to host a "Not Prom" party for the 16+ kids in the stake. Super awesome. It takes a village, ya know?
The kids had a great time and turned "Not Prom" into a two day event. The night before all the couples they came over to our house to play games and watch a movie. The next day it was time to get all spiffied up for the pictures.
After pictures it was off to a nice dinner reservation and a night of dancing. I think a great time was had by all!
