So, School didn't exactly look "normal", but we were just happy to move forward and be back to school, IN PERSON! And life goes on, right? So we continued to move forward, as normally and safely as possible (lots of outdoors and masks):
As per tradition, we went to the beach with friends on Labor Day.
Kate had to be buried - it's tradition! - but this time they buried her as a snowman.
Lotsa fun . . . and maybe a little bit of sunburn. 😬
We also had some fun outdoors Young Women's activities. We had s'mores and a fire - with the bonus of the missionaries there to give training on how to invite friends to activities and to learn about the gospel.
And Yay! At the end of September we were able to start going back to church.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the girls were doing their best to keep things "normal."
Kylie continued to lose her baby teeth . . . like kids normally do.
Kate continued to create her own science experiments at home, blindfold herself to put away her laundry, and copy her face on our printer . . . like Kate normally does.
And Lise continued to do normal teen things - like go on dates and get a job (at Smoothie King - totally perfect for her, but now she no longer makes smoothies for the family at home. 😔)
(Fun crazy date at the beach!)
