So, it's time for a little backlogging. . . Aly's 13th Birthday. She had a joint b-day party with a friend and was probably most excited this birthday that she can finally watch PG-13 movies.
Analise made her this birthday card - totally hilarious.

Aly - I was born to be awesome, not perfect.

I think Aly's favorite present was the one she bought for herself - an ipod touch. Nice of her to act surprised though . . . ;)
After opening presents we had a Nerf battle to commemorate the occassion. Although this is supposed to be an everyone against everyone affair, they usually turn into everyone against Dad.
So who won the battle? Kate! About a 1/2 hour in she engaged the strategy of collecting all the ammo. Pretty soon there were no darts left to shoot. Hmm, sounds a lot like our government . . .
