Fun with Cousins - Just 'Cuz!

Okay, so, nothing like moving somewhere new to keep you busy for two months!  We are finally (sort of) feeling settled in Kentucky, so now I get to go back and Blog about all the craziness. . .

Chris' family was having a reunion over the 4th of July, but due to the timing of our move, our family wouldn't be able to go.  Instead we sent Aly and Analise with Carolyn's family to represent the Chris O'Gwin portion of the family. First they spent a night @ Aunt Carolyn's making noodles (um, yeah, that's an experience they'd never get at my house!)

It also happened to be Lise's birthday while they were there so the three older girls decorated Lise's room after she fell asleep and baked her a beautimus cake.

Next, it was off to Utah!
I only heard about this vacation through texts, but it sounded like a great time.
They packed as much into 5 days as humanly possible.  From facials, hiking in Zion's National Park, and seeing an outdoor play . . .

. . . to shooting and cliff jumping at the Lake.  (Apparently our girls were fearless little dare devils!  Made me proud. :)>)

At the end of the trip, the girls went to see my family for a couple of days, where they crammed as much as humanly possible into two days:  splash pad, ice cream, four wheeling, swimming, movie, out to dinner - phew!

I don't have any pictures of this awesomeness, but they did bring me back the t-shirt quilt that Laura's awesome sister-in-law made for me (and one for Laura as well.)  Mine had all of the t-shirts that Jess had from every place I've lived in the military and lots of my Mom's t-shirts from when the U won the Sugar Bowl, Lake Powell, Hawaii, etc.  It turned out amazing!!!
